We’re working on implementing more classic CAD-style tools, allowing users to create and shape 3D objects into more complex designs.
It’s still early, but the new sketch tools already include some useful features, such as easy-to-control curves, the ability to upload reference images and calibrate them to scale, mirror guidelines for creating symmetrical objects, offsets, and simple add/subtract operations.
We’re also working on migrating the calculation engine to version 2. This is a major task, so we’re rolling it out step by step. Once completed, it will eventually make it possible to create almost anything we want.
That said, Build Automation will remain the core of the app.
